  China confirms second case of A (H1N1) influenza on mainland  

  

 

China's Ministry of Health Wednesday confirmed a man in the eastern Shandong Province who recently returned from Canada tested positive for the A(H1N1) influenza.

China's Ministry of Health Wednesday confirmed a man in the eastern Shandong Province who recently returned from Canada tested positive for the A(H1N1) influenza.

The case, the second of its kind on the Chinese mainland so far, involved a 19-year-old student surnamed Lv who arrived in Beijing on Flight AC029 on May 8. He arrived at Jinan, capital of Shandong Province on May 11 by train D41.
