Daming Lake

Located in the capital of the Shandong, and well known as one of the best recreational lakes in the province, Daming Lake is the ideal place for your next vacation.

Daming Lake is primarily fed by fountain, not rainfall or snowmelt, making for very comfortable water temperatures and constant water level year around.

The best known lakeside resorts are Torii, the Xia Garden, Jiaxuan Ancestral Temple, Tiegong Ancestral Temple, Lixia Pavilion, Beijing Shrine, Nanfeng Ancestral Temple, Huibo Storied House, Mingchang Bell Kiosk, Minghubaoding (an ancient cooking vessel), Painting Wall by Zenggong, and the big fountain in the center of the lake.

Mt.Qianfo

The south of Jinan is Mt. Qianfo (thousand Buddha). The name comes from the history of Sui Dynasty when holes were cut on the cliffs to carve many statues of Buddha in them and the set up of Qianfo Temple.

Mt. Qianfo possesses several historical monuments, shrines and temples, ageless traditions and legends all make it a living museum that any visitor would cherish its vivid memory in his/her heart forever.

Baotu spring park

You can hear the Baotuquan Fountain before you see it. In a big pool of fresh water, three springs at the bottom spurt out, forming three water columns sometimes reaching more than 30 centimeters above the water level.

With the source of a constant flow of sparking water that does not stop, the Baotuquan Fountain is simply beautiful. It is a writhing mishmash of mist with pavilions, stone bridges and paths as a backdrop.

Qingdao  

Mt.Laoshan Scenic Spot

With major peak soaring over 1133 meters high, Mt. Laoshan enjoys top position along the 18000-kilometer coast of China high summit league. Hues vary from the dark blue sea to the hazed sky and vistas range from the steep ridges and peaks, the bony monster rocks to the deep gullies and dells. 

Ba Da Guan

With beautiful natural landscape, Ba Da Guan (The Eight Passes Area) is a well-known sanatorium quarter.

Most of the architecture here incorporates the styles worldwide. Such as Color Stone Storied Building, Princess Building and East Sea Hotel. Moreover, the luxuriant flowers and trees make it a place of picturesque scenery.

Yantai  

Golden beach

Golden Beach International Bathing Beach is 100 hectares with white sand (40 hectares)and forestry belts(60 hectares),shaded by thousands of trees and surrounded by clear blue water.

Every April thousands of Japanese pagoda trees are blooming, filling the air with the scent that so enraptured visitors.
 
Penglai Pavilion

Having long been known as a fairyland, Penglai is one of the three supernatural mountains inhabited by immortals. The other two are Yingzhou and Fangzhang, which were frequently visited for wonder herbs by emperors since Qin and Han dynasties.

The famous legend of "Eight immortals crossing the sea" finds its origin here.

The landscaped Penglai Pavilion is seated on the hill of Mt.Danya making it entirely appropriate for a seafront pavilion. It is a large-scale ancient architecture cluster comprised of Penglai Pavilion, Tianhou Palace, Longwu Palace, Luzu Temple, Sanqing Temple and Mituo Temple.
 
Weihai  

Chengshantou

Looked upon as the "ancient Cape of Good Hope", Chengshantou lies in the east of Jiaodong peninsula. It is an area boasts of evergreen riges, deep blue sea, cliffy krantzs and onrushing billows, taking you into the natural environment of the oriental city. 
 
Liugong Island.

Located in the Weihai bay, 20 minutes from the travel dock by boat, Liugong Island, also called "the unsinkable battle ship", is surrounded by the weihai bay and the yellow river. The scene worth mentioning is the 2700 mu's vegetation on the island, especially the pine trees.

Tai'an  

Mt.Taishan

Mt.Tai in Shandong boasts powerful, varied mountain scenery while enhanced by thousand years of cultural enrichment and historic sites of mankind creation.

With all this in mind, the Committee of the World Heritages of UNESCO officially recognized Mt.Tai as a natural heritage site of worldwide importance.

The history of Mt.Tai area can dating back to the provenance of Chinese culture, and early in Chunqiu period, Mt.Tai had been reserved for imperial sacrifices to Heaven, leading to its current paramount situation.

With 6,293 steps on the path up the mountain, it often requires a full day on the mountain and you'd better bring along plenty water.
 
Jining  

Confucian Temple

Confucian Temple is located in the center of Qufu city, originally called "Zhi Sheng Temple".

It used to be a temple offering sacrifices to Confucius under the command of Lu Shuai Gong in the year 478 BC.

After years of expansion and renovation, in Ming Dynasty the temple came to the present scale with nine courtyards and more than 100 buildings.
 
There were more than 1000 inscribed tablets of different ages dating back to West Han Dynasty together with the forum called 'Xing Tan', which was used by Confucius as the estrade.

Some other laudable relics are elm, which is hand filled, Confucius poem hall, and the famous buildings constructed in Jin and Yuan Dynasty.

Stone columns sculptured with dragons and tablet inscriptions from the Dynasty of Han Wei Bei can be found in the Da Cheng Palace.
 
Confucius Forest

About 2 kilometers north of the Confucius Mansions, Confucius Forest is the largest and oldest family cemetery. Confucius and his descendants in the last 2,000 years rest amid trees, pavilions and statues. Covering 200 hectares, the graveyard is a well-preserved park with almost 20,000 trees in great diversity. Confucius and his descendants are buried under mounds enclosed in a wall. An approach flanked by stone animals and guardians leads to Confucius's simple but dignified tomb adjoined by his son's and his grandson's tombs.

Heze  

Peony Garden 

Prestigious as having "the finest Peony on earth", Haze Peony Tourist Zone has the largest production and scientific research base of peony in China. The history of peony here can be dated back to Southern Song Dynasty while flourishing in Ming Dynasty. By now there are 15,000 mud areas covered with peony of 6000-odd varieties. Besides the peony, several hundred kinds of flowers can be found here. Wonderful localities are Bauhaus Garden, Guinn Garden and Cachou Garden.
